  • Work on diverse projects ranging from $2M to $20M, including ground-up and renovation work.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for commercial construction projects.
  • Analyze project requirements and specifications to determine materials and labor costs.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure project feasibility.
  • Review and interpret architectural and engineering plans for estimation purposes.
  • Maintain detailed records of estimates, proposals, and project documentation.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust estimates as necessary to align with changes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and cost fluctuations to ensure accurate estimations.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize project costs and efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimation, with 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in estimation software and tools commonly used in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and project management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure accurate cost predictions.
  • Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of local construction regulations and standards in the Nashville area.
  • Manager-level expertise in handling complex projects and delivering results.
