Job Description

Overview

  • Provide accounting support for T&E and AP functions in a financial services setting.
  • Assist with expense coding, allocation, and posting for accurate financial records.
  • Support reconciliation and month-end close processes to ensure compliance.
  • Contribute to vendor onboarding and W-9 collection for streamlined operations.
  • Engage in system cleanup and transition tasks between Ramp and Tripsware.
  • Work independently in a flexible, remote, part-time capacity.
  • Collaborate with management company accounting for back-office operations.
  • Opportunity for contract extension based on performance and project needs.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Code, allocate, and post expenses in compliance with company policies.
  • Review and summarize expense reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Analyze and compile out-of-pocket data for reporting purposes.
  • Assist with reconciliations and month-end close activities.
  • Support AP processes, including handling 15–20 invoices weekly.
  • Onboard vendors and collect W-9 forms to maintain compliance.
  • Perform cleanup and transition tasks between Ramp and Tripsware systems.
  • Contribute to additional accounting projects as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in accounting or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in T&E and AP functions.
  • Background in financial services industry preferred.
  • Familiarity with Ramp, Tripsware, and/or Concur systems is a plus.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote, part-time capacity.
  • Strong analytical skills for data analysis and reporting tasks.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to system transitions and cleanup projects.
