Job Description

Overview

  • Contribute to financial reporting and accounting operations for a growing real estate development firm.
  • Collaborate with investment and development teams to manage financial aspects of projects.
  • Perform treasury functions, audit coordination, and tax preparation tasks.
  • Engage in office administrative duties alongside accounting responsibilities.
  • Work closely with upper management, including CFO, CEO, and CIO.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare construction draws, maintain financial records, and ensure timely payments for development properties.
  • Coordinate with property managers on stabilized properties for financial oversight.
  • Collaborate with investment and development teams to address financial issues and deal structures.
  • Manage treasury functions, including cash flow monitoring and fund allocation.
  • Oversee audit and tax preparation processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Perform office administrative tasks to support organizational operations.
  • Report to the CFO while collaborating with other members of upper management.
  • Utilize Excel for financial analysis and reporting tasks.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate development.
  • Proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and reporting tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with management and teams.
  • CPA certification is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with financial reporting, audit coordination, and tax preparation.
  • Self-starter attitude with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
