Job Description

Overview

  • Assist in managing civil construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with project teams to coordinate resources, schedules, and deliverables effectively.
  • Support the development and implementation of project plans and strategies.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout project execution.
  • Participate in meetings with clients and contractors to address project requirements and resolve issues.
  • Contribute to the preparation of project documentation, including reports and presentations.
  • Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate project schedules, resources, and activities to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitor expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct site visits to oversee construction activities and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams, contractors, and clients to address concerns and requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, reports, and contracts.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Support the implementation of safety protocols and quality assurance measures.
  • Participate in project review meetings to evaluate progress and address challenges.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management or construction-related roles.
  • Preferred 5 years of experience in civil construction project management.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools is advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work on-site and oversee construction activities effectively.
