Job Description

Overview

  • Serve as a hands-on HR Business Partner, providing expert consultation across the employee lifecycle for assigned client groups.
  • Implement People Strategy & Services policies and programs, including performance management, employee relations, and talent initiatives.
  • Provide high-quality responses to client inquiries and first-line support on HR programs and processes.
  • Triage people issues, determine appropriate paths, and document next steps, owners, and deadlines.
  • Coach leaders through performance concerns, team conflicts, and sensitive employee situations with solution-oriented approaches.
  • Support organizational and team changes by offering guidance, resources, and communication strategies.
  • Analyze people-related data, assess trends, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Drive HR projects using disciplined project management and coordination with subject matter experts.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide leadership support for performance management and employee relations, including coaching leaders and guiding performance improvement plans.
  • Influence leaders without formal authority and guide teams through change and resistance effectively.
  • Pull, analyze, and present qualitative and quantitative people data to inform decisions.
  • Draft high-quality written communications, including talking points, manager guidance, and employee-facing materials.
  • Plan, lead, track, and execute HR projects through implementation, ensuring outcomes are delivered.
  • Utilize HRIS systems for reporting, workflow navigation, and operational support.
  • Partner with senior HR leadership for alignment and consultation on complex matters.
  • Conduct needs assessments and recommend process improvements to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of HR experience, including HRBP roles with leadership coaching and complex employee relations.
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR) preferred.
  • Advanced technical capability in HR business partnering, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems such as ADP, Workday, Oracle Cloud, or PeopleSoft.
  • Strong data fluency, including analysis, interpretation, and presentation of people data.
  • Proven project management skills to plan and execute HR initiatives effectively.
  • Excellent written communication skills for drafting detailed and professional materials.
