Job Description

Overview

  • Provide technical support to ensure smooth operation of IT systems and equipment.
  • Set up workstations, peripherals, and software for optimal functionality.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, configurations, and updates.
  • Train users on new software and equipment usage.
  • Identify and address shortages in IT or network equipment.
  • Collaborate with management to fulfill additional IT-related duties.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Set up and configure workstations, peripherals, and software to meet specifications.
  • Perform hardware checks and troubleshoot issues to ensure functionality.
  • Install and update software and system functions as required.
  • Provide user training and support for new systems and equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including debugging and repairs.
  • Maintain detailed logs of system repairs and updates.
  • Monitor and address equipment shortages proactively.
  • Assist management with additional IT-related tasks as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in IT support or related roles required.
  • Certification in IT (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) preferred.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving hardware/software issues.
  • Strong understanding of IT principles and technical concepts.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
