Technical Architect

Overview

• Lead architectural design and integration for investment banking technology platforms and capabilities in a hybrid work environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver Azure-based enterprise applications and cloud-native solutions.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices and high-quality deliverables.
• Focus on engineering execution and integration across investment banking technology platforms and capabilities.
• Work closely with information security and DevOps teams to architect secure and efficient solutions.
• Engage in full software development lifecycle activities, from design to deployment and maintenance.
• Contribute to the development of enterprise search capabilities and data-enabled workflows using Microsoft Azure.
• Ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead delivery and integration for investment banking technology projects, including CRM and data hub integrations.
• Design, develop, and deliver Azure-based enterprise applications and cloud-native solutions.
• Architect and implement solutions using Microsoft Azure services such as App Services, Functions, and APIs.
• Mentor and guide development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and technical standards.
• Collaborate with information security and DevOps teams to ensure secure and efficient application architecture.
• Engage in full software development lifecycle activities, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Develop enterprise search capabilities and data-enabled workflows leveraging Microsoft Azure technologies.
• Ensure project alignment with organizational goals and compliance with industry standards.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 12-15 years of experience in software development and architectural leadership.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services such as App Services, Functions, and APIs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft-aligned technologies, including C#, .NET, and Python.
• Strong communication skills and ability to mentor and guide development teams.
• Experience in leading full software development lifecycle activities.
• Knowledge of investment banking technology platforms and capabilities is preferred.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with three days onsite in New York City.
