- Oversee media planning, activation, optimization, and reporting processes, aligning priorities with organizational goals.
- Drive innovation through test-and-learn initiatives and adoption of new platforms and AdTech capabilities.
- Serve as a senior subject matter expert, providing strategic recommendations to leadership on media investment and channel strategies.
- Manage agency partnerships, ensuring high-quality outputs and measurable impact across segments and channels.
- Develop and implement paid media standards, best practices, and guardrails guiding planning and activation efforts.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead the Media Planning & Activation team, setting priorities and quality standards for planning and execution.
- Own quarterly and annual media and financial planning processes, aligning with Brand Marketing, Analytics, and Finance.
- Ensure actionable insights through performance management forums, optimization reviews, and reporting processes.
- Advance measurement frameworks, including incrementality testing and media effectiveness analysis.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to enable integrated execution and decision-making across the funnel.
- Act as senior client lead for paid media agencies, driving accountability for impactful outputs.
- Stay current on industry changes, evolving strategy and operating standards accordingly.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years managing enterprise-level paid media programs with focus on Paid Search, Programmatic Display, and Paid Social.
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams, agencies, and large-scale budgets.
- Expert knowledge of ad tech and analytics platforms, including Google Marketing Platform and Adobe Analytics.
- Proficiency in incrementality testing, attribution models, and advanced measurement frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Executive-ready communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
