Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead annual financial statement preparation and manage external audit workflows as the primary liaison.
  • Prepare monthly accruals and support regulatory filings and compliance mandates.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly reconciliations of trial balances, P&L, pricing, and positions.
  • Execute quarterly valuation processes and investment reporting with accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Investor Relations to generate accurate investor performance reports.
  • Manage capital activities, distributions, and withdrawals in partnership with Operations.
  • Evaluate and streamline accounting workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Leverage modern software, automation, and AI tools to optimize platform efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in fund accounting or related roles.
  • Strong technical capabilities and proficiency in modern accounting software and AI tools.
  • Experience with hedge funds, private ventures, real estate funds, and family office investment entities.
  • Proven ability to manage financial reporting, audits, and compliance mandates.
  • Excellent skills in reconciliations, valuations, and investor reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
