Job Description

Overview

  • Support financial operations for general partners and executive entities through comprehensive accounting and reporting practices.
  • Prepare monthly reporting packages, including cash reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
  • Assist in consolidating financial statements across management companies and partnerships.
  • Monitor and manage capital call fundings and incentive fee allocations.
  • Maintain executive incentive compensation plan models using advanced analytics tools.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external service providers for ad-hoc financial requests.
  • Contribute to year-end financial audits and compliance reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and review journal entries, cash reconciliations, and accruals for professional fees.
  • Manage intercompany expense reconciliations and settlements with the management company.
  • Allocate investment P&L and incentive fees across executive entities.
  • Monitor partner capital accounts and create detailed capital statements.
  • Assist in preparing quarterly presentations on financial metrics and projections.
  • Utilize advanced data analytics tools for efficient financial modeling and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with audit requirements and assist in year-end financial statement preparation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of accounting experience in financial institutions or public accounting.
  • CPA certification preferred; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
  • Experience with ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Alteryx, PowerBI, and Anaplan is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
