Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Coordinate and oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Manage communication with clients, subcontractors, and site personnel to maintain project alignment.
- Supervise superintendents and provide guidance to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Adapt to changing project priorities and implement solutions to address challenges effectively.
- Conduct site visits on the west coast to monitor progress and resolve issues proactively.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards across all projects.
- Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress and addressing concerns.
- Utilize construction management software to track project metrics and optimize workflows.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with ground-up commercial construction expertise.
- Experience with commercial, light industrial, and conversion projects is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to manage job sites and oversee superintendents effectively.
- Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Flexibility to travel 2-3 days per week and work remotely otherwise.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools is preferred.
- Self-storage project experience is a plus but not mandatory.
