Key Responsibilities & Duties

- Develop and execute strategic plans to advance perioperative services and patient care.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to optimize department performance.
- Ensure adherence to accreditation, regulatory, and safety standards across surgical units.
- Collaborate with surgeons and nursing staff to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Monitor performance metrics and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead recruitment, retention, and professional development of surgical personnel.
- Oversee capital planning for surgical equipment and technology upgrades.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced certifications preferred.
- Current, unrestricted RN license and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
- Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) certification preferred for advanced perioperative expertise.
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in surgical nursing; 5 years preferred.
- Proven expertise in managing surgical services and ensuring compliance with standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to drive team success.
