Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare and self-review tax work products for high-net-worth individuals and fiduciary tax compliance.
- Research complex tax issues and develop practical income tax planning solutions.
- Assist in preparing time-sensitive client requests and planning opportunities with precision.
- Facilitate communication and knowledge sharing to enhance team service delivery.
- Utilize compliance technology applications for efficient and accurate tax processing.
- Contribute to a flexible and team-oriented working culture, promoting collaboration.
- Maintain a commitment to continuing education and professional development in tax practices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is required.
- 4-6 years of experience in tax or family office practices, focusing on individual and fiduciary tax.
- Proficiency in compliance technology applications such as Pro Systems and BNA Income Tax Planner.
- CPA certification or CPA exam parts passed is preferred.
- MBA or MS in Taxation is a plus, enhancing qualifications.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Knowledge of CCH Engagement and CCH Axcess Tax is preferred.
