Overview

  • Contribute to innovative investment strategies supporting financial products and customer needs.
  • Ensure accurate U.S. GAAP and statutory accounting for alternative assets portfolio.
  • Collaborate across finance teams to develop and execute investment strategies.
  • Maintain robust internal controls framework and evaluate system outputs.
  • Research accounting guidance to optimize business processes.
  • Perform reconciliations, transaction reviews, and financial reporting preparation.
  • Support SOX controls documentation and assess operational risks.
  • Engage in strategic business process redesign efforts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive superior business results.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Support accurate accounting and reporting for alternative investment portfolios.
  • Evaluate system outputs for appropriate accounting treatments.
  • Research accounting guidance to enhance processes and identify efficiencies.
  • Perform reconciliations, transaction reviews, and journal entries.
  • Assist in developing and executing investment strategies.
  • Collaborate across teams to create efficiencies and achieve results.
  • Maintain SOX controls documentation and evaluate deficiency risks.
  • Support strategic business process redesign efforts.
  • Perform other assigned duties to meet organizational goals.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • 2-5 years of U.S. GAAP and statutory accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with SOX controls and operational risk assessment.
  • Ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships.
