Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Design and manage civil engineering projects including grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater systems.
- Prepare detailed construction documents, reports, and technical specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Coordinate with clients, agencies, and contractors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing technical guidance and quality assurance.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other software for project design and analysis.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive engineering solutions.
- Engage in permitting and regulatory submissions to ensure project compliance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required; PE license preferred or in progress.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil/site design; 10 years preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering design software.
- Strong knowledge of local codes, permitting processes, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and team interactions.
- Experience with public works or municipal projects is advantageous.
- Ability to lead projects and mentor junior staff effectively.
