Overview

  • Support a high-profile mass tort case involving over 3,000 clients.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals in a dynamic team environment.
  • Provide empathetic and professional client service in sensitive matters.
  • Manage diverse tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Administer trusts and estates, including probate processes and filings.
  • Prepare and file legal documents with State, Federal, and Surrogate’s Courts.
  • Communicate with trustees, beneficiaries, and family members effectively.
  • Research and retrieve estate files from various courts and third-party vendors.
  • Prepare petitions, tax returns, and other legal documentation accurately.
  • Respond to court requests and manage supplemental document submissions.
  • Maintain meticulous records of communications and billable time.
  • Assist in estate distributions and accounting processes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required.
  • Four to six years of experience in Trusts & Estates, including probate practice.
  • Notary Public certification or willingness to obtain it promptly.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Reader.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable in a fast-paced environment.
