Job Description

Overview

  • Lead patient financial services operations, driving efficiency and compliance within a healthcare organization.
  • Develop and implement strategic policies to enhance revenue cycle management and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize billing and accounts receivable processes.
  • Provide leadership and accountability for financial performance across multiple departments.
  • Foster staff development through training programs and continuous feedback mechanisms.
  • Monitor financial metrics and design tools for performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and oversee departmental goals, budgets, and performance standards aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Evaluate and enhance service delivery methods to optimize costs and improve patient outcomes.
  • Lead fiscal and technical activities to ensure efficient department operations and compliance.
  • Implement policies and procedures to achieve departmental objectives and regulatory adherence.
  • Direct centralized billing, collections, and cash management processes across organizational entities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management required.
  • EPIC PB & HB certifications required; advanced Excel knowledge and analytical skills essential.
  • Proven track record of managing patient financial services as the sole leader.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Extensive experience in EPIC revenue cycle operations and centralized billing required.
  • Ability to develop and oversee departmental goals, budgets, and performance standards.
