Job Description

Overview

  • Provide essential support for claims cleanup and reconciliation in a dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Assist with documentation and resolution of claims discrepancies using advanced technology platforms.
  • Contribute to social care referral workflows and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines and confidentiality standards.
  • Gain valuable experience in healthcare claims processing and public health services.
  • Work onsite in a structured Monday to Friday schedule with provided equipment.
  • Engage in administrative and project-related tasks to support organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Review, reconcile, and resolve claims discrepancies to ensure accurate processing.
  • Maintain and update claims and referral documentation using organizational systems.
  • Utilize technology platforms for managing case information and workflows.
  • Support social care referral processes and ensure proper documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address outstanding claims efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines while handling sensitive information.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks as required to support the project.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional certifications in HIPAA preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in medical billing or claims processing; 2 years preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in technology platforms and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Background in social care services, care coordination, or public health beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills for effective collaboration.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and confidentiality practices is advantageous.
