Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead the design and implementation of electrical systems for advanced vehicle electronics.
- Conduct failure analysis and root cause troubleshooting to enhance system reliability.
- Develop and test PCBs, firmware, and low-voltage DC designs.
- Utilize ECAD tools such as Altium for precise and efficient design tasks.
- Collaborate on projects involving CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and wireless communication technologies.
- Participate in field visits to gather insights and ensure product performance meets expectations.
- Contribute to process development and optimization in a dynamic engineering setting.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electronics or Electrical Engineering is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering; 10 years preferred.
- Proficiency in ECAD tools such as Altium or equivalent software.
- Experience with DC design, bus communication systems, and failure analysis.
- Knowledge of CAN communications, M0 processors, and dense power electronics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration within a diverse team.
- Flexibility to work on-site with occasional field visits as needed.
