Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform CT imaging procedures based on physician orders and established protocols.
- Review patient history and educate patients on procedural expectations.
- Administer contrast media and monitor patient responses during imaging.
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of imaging equipment.
- Adhere to safety standards and regulatory guidelines in radiologic practices.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Perform quality control checks and troubleshoot equipment issues as needed.
- Document imaging results and maintain accurate patient records.
Job Requirements
- Associate of Science degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in radiologic imaging; 2 years preferred.
- Proficiency in operating CT imaging equipment and performing diagnostic procedures.
- Strong knowledge of imaging protocols and safety standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
