Job Description

Overview

  • Prepare, submit, and track high-volume client invoices for diverse clients, including major financial institutions, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and internal teams to resolve billing questions and maintain client satisfaction.
  • Manage e-billing profiles and platforms, ensuring timely invoice acceptance and addressing rejections.
  • Perform accounts receivable reconciliations and follow up on outstanding invoices and discrepancies.
  • Support check processing and payment tracking as part of the billing cycle.
  • Allocate time effectively between billing cycles and reconciliation activities to meet deadlines.
  • Work in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site and remote responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Draft, review, and process invoices for hundreds of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Submit invoices through electronic billing platforms and resolve rejections promptly.
  • Maintain e-billing profiles essential to firmwide billing operations.
  • Perform reconciliations and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable.
  • Communicate with attorneys to address billing inquiries and ensure compliance with guidelines.
  • Support payment tracking and check processing tasks as required.
  • Collaborate with a billing team supporting a large group of attorneys.
  • Balance billing cycles and follow-up activities to optimize efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory; recent graduates with internship experience considered.
  • 1+ years of billing or accounts receivable experience preferred; entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with e-billing platforms such as CounselLink, TyMetrix, Serengeti, or similar systems highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage high volumes and multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive, comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and on-site tasks.
