Vice President, Senior Controller Overview

  • The Vice President, Senior Controller will oversee operational accounting teams, including corporate accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and lease administration.
  • Lead strategic initiatives and special projects, contributing to organizational growth and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with senior management to provide real-time financial insights and operational forecasts.
  • Foster a collaborative, results-driven environment, mentoring and developing team members.
  • Manage liquidity, ensuring efficient fund transfers and forward-looking cash flow analysis.

Vice President, Senior Controller Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead and develop corporate accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable teams.
  • Oversee corporate accounting functions, including monthly closings and workpaper reviews.
  • Manage corporate budgeting processes and monitor performance against budgets.
  • Coordinate annual audits and provide tax information to preparers.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate disbursement policies and expense reporting systems.
  • Monitor and address open arrears, escalating issues to leasing or operations as needed.

Vice President, Senior Controller Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
