Private Credit Investment Associate Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Underwrite investment opportunities using detailed credit analyses and financial modeling techniques.
• Review and manipulate loan tapes to perform comprehensive credit evaluations.
• Prepare detailed investment memos with a focus on accuracy and clarity.
• Participate in deal execution processes, ensuring timely and effective completion.
• Monitor portfolio companies, generate performance reviews, and ensure accurate reporting.
• Identify emerging companies for deal sourcing and organize initial meetings.
• Develop marketing content to enhance the firm's brand and market presence.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve strategic investment goals and objectives.

Private Credit Investment Associate Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as finance or accounting.
• 2–4 years of experience in private credit investing, investment banking, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of credit underwriting, accounting principles, and financial statement analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Alteryx is a plus.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with acute attention to detail.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
