Registered Nurse Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and reporting to the care team.
- Provide tracheostomy and ventilator care, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Educate families on care plans and medical procedures to ensure continuity of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.

- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and infection control measures.
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a valid NYS RN license required.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics or critical care.
- Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care is highly desirable; training provided if needed.
- Hospital experience and familiarity with sub-acute care settings are advantageous.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
