Pricing Valuation Overview

  • The Pricing Valuation role offers an opportunity to lead valuation processes and ensure accuracy in financial modeling and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain valuation integrity and compliance with industry standards.
  • Utilize advanced valuation methodologies, including DCF and comparable company analysis, to derive accurate security valuations.
  • Contribute to strategic decision-making by providing insightful performance analyses and variance summaries.

Pricing Valuation Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and review financial models to support and reconcile valuation processes, including stress-testing and back-testing.
  • Implement valuation best practices to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials across teams.
  • Create performance analyses, variance summaries, and reporting packages for senior management.
  • Ensure the accuracy of quantitative and qualitative information in valuations, communicating results effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to address valuation inquiries and maintain compliance.
  • Stay informed on financial performance and industry dynamics, participating in lender calls and deal evolutions.
  • Maintain valuation and portfolio databases, coordinating activities for relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide expertise on valuation-related items, including regulatory reviews and market practices.
  • Drive process enhancements while adhering to ASC 820 and industry best practices.

Pricing Valuation Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in valuation-related work, with a preference for 9+ years.
  • Proficiency in valuation techniques such as DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions.
  • Thorough understanding of ASC 820 and corresponding valuation guidance.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Effective project management skills and awareness of internal business controls.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation creation.
