Job Description

Overview

  • Contribute to the development and delivery of advanced analytical solutions in a structured agile environment.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and stakeholders to design and deploy innovative features and workflows.
  • Engage in sprint cycles, ensuring production-ready increments through rigorous testing and validation.
  • Support CI/CD pipeline tasks, build scripts, and automated testing to enhance deployment processes.
  • Perform data integration and ontology engineering tasks to ensure consistent data interpretation across platforms.
  • Participate in solution framing activities, translating user needs into actionable engineering tasks.
  • Contribute to the sustainment and iterative improvement of deployed capabilities, resolving defects and delivering enhancements.
  • Produce clear technical documentation, including configuration notes, runbooks, and sprint artifacts.
  • Work within a diverse and innovative team environment that supports professional growth.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide embedded engineering support, collaborating with operational users and senior engineers to deliver mission-aligned capabilities.
  • Develop workflows, applications, dashboards, and AI-enabled features using advanced tools and methodologies.
  • Configure CI/CD pipelines, build scripts, and environment promotion workflows for deployment readiness.
  • Perform testing and validation to ensure functionality aligns with approved definitions and requirements.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and demonstrations for stakeholders.
  • Identify integration issues and collaborate with senior engineers to resolve blockers effectively.
  • Contribute to production hardening efforts, ensuring stable operations across deployed capabilities.
  • Engage in peer mentorship programs, providing performance feedback and fostering team growth.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation to support operational continuity.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional certifications in software engineering or data platforms preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of software engineering experience; 4 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or Java within cloud-based data platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, including pipelines, Workshop/Slate, and Ontology.
  • Experience in government, defense, or classified environments is advantageous.
  • Ability to independently build, test, and deliver production-ready features and functionality.
  • Comfortable working in small, fast-moving technical teams with agile methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate user needs into actionable engineering tasks.
