Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Key Responsibilities & Duties

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Job Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required with certification in specialty preferred.
• Current licensure in the State of Texas as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in neonatal care; 7 years preferred.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills to manage staff and coordinate care delivery.
• Proficiency in developing clinical standards and implementing operational policies.
• Knowledge of budget planning, resource allocation, and fiscal management within healthcare settings.
