Vice President, Fund Accounting Overview
- The Vice President, Fund Accounting will lead financial operations for a global fund administration firm.

Vice President, Fund Accounting Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Maintain and control general ledgers and sub-ledgers for various funds.
- Prepare and review financial statements, footnotes, and partner capital statements.
- Oversee client relationships, meetings, and service plans, including annual budgets.
- Provide technical accounting expertise, particularly in the infrastructure fund space.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure compliance.
- Review partnership agreements and implement fund structures on accounting systems.
- Prepare ad hoc reports and oversee trading and operations processes.
- Lead initiatives for business and technology reengineering in fund administration.
Vice President, Fund Accounting Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; CPA designation preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in fund administration or accounting; 15 years preferred.
- Proficiency in US GAAP and fund accounting systems like Investran or Yardi.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills with proven project management abilities.
- Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in managing infrastructure funds and delivering client-focused solutions.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and reporting guidelines for alternative investments.
- Ability to negotiate, plan budgets, and analyze margins effectively.
