- The Quant Risk Project Manager will enhance risk frameworks, methodologies, and reporting systems for a leading investment advisory institution.

Quant Risk Project Manager Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Collaborate with the Head of Risk Special Projects to refine risk methodologies and reporting systems.
- Build prototypes and implement system enhancements to reflect portfolio changes and reporting requirements.
- Develop crisis playbooks, defining triggers and critical decision-making processes across functions.
- Create documentation for liquidity and counterparty risk frameworks, updating policies and procedures.
- Conduct research and benchmarking to align risk management practices with industry standards.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses, data visualization, and calculation of pro-forma risk metrics.
- Collaborate with Investment, Treasury, Legal, and Operations teams to implement risk enhancements.
- Ensure operational excellence through rigorous testing and daily diligence of systems and processes.
Quant Risk Project Manager Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering with a quantitative focus.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience, preferably in financial services or risk management.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation.
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills with knowledge of probability and statistics.
- Clear oral and written communication skills, capable of engaging with senior audiences.
- Experience in financial risk management, including market, liquidity, and counterparty risk, is preferred.
- FRM or PRMIA designation is a plus, showcasing expertise in risk management.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a hybrid work environment.
