- The Regional Administrator Surgery Center oversees operations across three Ambulatory Surgery Centers, ensuring optimal performance and strategic alignment.
- Lead multi-site operations, collaborating with corporate leadership and governing boards to achieve organizational goals.
- Manage financial performance, including P&L accountability, budgeting, and operational analysis for efficiency and growth.
- Ensure compliance with CMS, state licensure, and accreditation standards, maintaining readiness for inspections.
- Build strong relationships with physician partners and stakeholders, addressing concerns and fostering collaboration.
- Drive operational readiness for new center openings, contributing to the organization's expansion plans.
- Work closely with Directors of Nursing to align clinical and operational priorities across facilities.

Regional Administrator Surgery Center Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide executive-level oversight for three Ambulatory Surgery Centers, ensuring operational excellence and strategic execution.
- Develop and manage cross-site schedules, maintaining presence at each facility as required.
- Collaborate with centralized teams on finance, purchasing, compliance, and clinical leadership alignment.
- Prepare and present materials for governing board meetings, serving as the administrative liaison.
- Analyze financial metrics to identify and implement opportunities for margin improvement and efficiency.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and accreditation readiness across all sites, leading inspections and policy adherence.
- Engage with physician partners on operational and strategic initiatives, fostering strong relationships.
- Support the opening of new centers, contributing to the organization's growth and development.
Regional Administrator Surgery Center Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees such as a Master's are preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Administrator or equivalent leader at an ASC or outpatient surgical facility.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple sites or business units simultaneously.
- Strong financial acumen, including P&L management, budgeting, and operational analysis.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage complex schedules effectively.
- Preferred experience with orthopedic, total joint, GI/endoscopy, or multispecialty ASC service lines.
- Familiarity with AAAHC or Joint Commission accreditation processes is highly desirable.
- Registered Nurse (RN) credentials or clinical background are strongly preferred.
