• The Audit and Collections Analyst will oversee audit and collection activities, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and Collective Bargaining Agreements.

Audit and Collections Analyst Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Create and distribute audit announcement letters; maintain accurate tracking in databases and accounting records.
• Gather and provide necessary audit documentation, monitor incomplete audits, and process completed audits efficiently.
• Review auditor invoices for accuracy and process payments for audits and delinquencies.
• Print and mail delinquency letters, assisting employers in resolving outstanding issues.
• Support attorneys in collection efforts by providing administrative assistance and tracking legal cases.
• Negotiate terms and create repayment agreements with employers to resolve delinquencies.
• Act as a liaison with external parties, including attorneys and fund administrators, to ensure compliance and payment resolutions.
• Make recommendations on employer overpayments and assist in pension overpayment processing.

Audit and Collections Analyst Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in collections or auditing; Taft-Hartley Trust Fund experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a cooperative and flexible demeanor.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues, gather evidence, and resolve problems collaboratively.
• Experience in payroll auditing and managing global commercial collections is advantageous.
• Proficiency in analyzing aging reports and prioritizing collection efforts effectively.
• Candidates must pass background and drug screenings and adhere to strict punctuality policies.
• On-site work required until conversion, with potential telework eligibility upon permanent hire.
