Infusion Registered Nurse Overview

• The Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) will deliver specialized infusion therapy in a supportive outpatient environment.
• Provide high-quality patient care by administering IV infusion therapies and monitoring patient responses.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety while delivering personalized treatments in a professional setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and treatment outcomes.

Infusion Registered Nurse Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Administer IV infusion therapies and specialty medications with precision and care.
• Perform thorough patient assessments before, during, and after treatments.
• Initiate and maintain IV access while monitoring for potential reactions.
• Educate patients on their treatments, medications, and care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation within the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and clinical teams to support patient care.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards.
• Provide interventions as needed to address patient reactions during treatments.

Infusion Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required, with strong IV insertion and infusion experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is mandatory.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required; 3 years preferred.
• Experience in infusion, oncology, ICU, ED, rheumatology, GI, or ambulatory care highly preferred.
• Proficient in patient assessment, communication, and care delivery skills.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems for accurate documentation.
• Ability to work on-site Monday through Thursday with occasional Saturday shifts.
