Nurse Director Emergency Department Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of acute care leadership experience; 5 years preferred.
- Experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers with high-volume emergency services.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and standards in emergency services.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve performance metrics and operational improvements.
- Stable work history with proven leadership capabilities in healthcare settings.
- Experience managing unionized staff preferred but not required.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic plans to enhance patient care and departmental growth.
