Director of Architecture Overview
- The Director of Architecture will lead architectural projects, ensuring high-quality designs and client satisfaction.
- Serve as the primary client interface, fostering strong relationships and understanding project requirements.
- Oversee quality control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Provide leadership to project teams, mentoring and guiding team members effectively.
- Utilize Revit for project designs, edits, and reviews, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage projects from inspection to design, punch lists, and construction phases.
- Ensure accountability by stamping/sealing drawings, adhering to quality control processes.
- Travel occasionally for project oversight, typically short trips lasting a few days.
Director of Architecture Key Responsibilities & Duties

Director of Architecture Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) required.
- Registered Architect (RA) certification required; LEED AP preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of architectural project management experience.
- Proficiency in Revit for design and project management tasks.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Experience in quality control processes, including redlining and drawing reviews.
