Project Architect Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead architectural design efforts for multi-family and higher education projects.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to achieve project goals.
• Develop detailed project documentation, including plans, elevations, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
• Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
• Participate in construction administration, including site visits and contractor coordination.
• Utilize advanced software tools for design and project management tasks.

Project Architect Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) degree is required.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in architectural design and project management.
• Registered Architect certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
• Experience with multi-family and higher education projects is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainability practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
