Associate/AVP, Deal Management – Private Markets Overview

  • The Associate/AVP, Deal Management role focuses on supporting private markets investments across equity, credit, funds, and real assets.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and prompt investment closings and operational excellence.
  • Drive scalable deal execution platforms and implement efficient operating models for onboarding and offboarding portfolios.
  • Provide tactical deal advisory, ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory standards during investment processes.
  • Work closely with treasury specialists to manage cash, liquidity, credit, and hedging initiatives effectively.
  • Support global transformation programs and projects to enhance operational processes and reduce risks.
  • Analyze and improve workflows using technology-enabled solutions to drive efficiencies and operational improvements.
  • Be part of a dynamic team contributing to the success of private markets investments globally.

Associate/AVP, Deal Management – Private Markets Key Responsibilities & Duties

Associate/AVP, Deal Management – Private Markets Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or equivalent; CPA qualification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in deal finance advisory and transaction management.
  • Strong understanding of private investments’ deal closing mechanics and investment structuring.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Effective stakeholder management and partnership skills with internal and external teams.
  • Proactive problem-solving capabilities to manage complex situations efficiently.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, cross-functional, multicultural environment is highly desirable.
