Job Description

Credit Operations Manager Overview

  • The Credit Operations Manager will oversee the operational infrastructure of the private credit platform, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Investment, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, and Fund Accounting to streamline operations.
  • Manage liquidity and facility operations, including daily monitoring, margin calls, and collateral processes.
  • Support loan operations, trade settlements, and investment servicing across multiple funds.
  • Ensure data integrity by reconciling executed loan documentation with portfolio management systems.
  • Maintain portfolio monitoring dashboards and support valuation processes for accurate reporting.
  • Prepare and reconcile portfolio data for investor reporting and Limited Partner deliverables.
  • Contribute to a hybrid work environment that promotes flexibility and work-life balance.

Credit Operations Manager Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee daily liquidity and cash management to support investment activities and trade settlements.
  • Manage collateral and margin processes, including monitoring, margin calls, and interest payments.
  • Coordinate facility closings, amendments, and compliance with legal counsel and lenders.
  • Support derivatives operations, including TRS and FX hedging activities.
  • Lead counterparty onboarding, KYC documentation, and operational due diligence.
  • Maintain portfolio monitoring dashboards and support quarterly valuation processes.
  • Prepare and reconcile portfolio data for investor reporting and NAV close processes.
  • Review financial reporting deliverables for accuracy and completeness.

Credit Operations Manager Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • 6+ years of experience in credit fund operations, loan operations, or fund accounting.
  • Proficiency with loan/credit systems such as Loan IQ, WSO, or AllVue.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including experience with waterfall and cash flow modeling.
  • Strong understanding of credit fund structures and loan lifecycle management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing or mentoring a team of analysts or associates.
  • Experience partnering with external counterparties and interpreting legal documentation.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid work environment with a focus on collaboration.
