Audit Partner Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead planning, execution, and completion of audit, review, and attestation engagements.
- Oversee engagement quality, risk management, and adherence to firm methodologies.
- Develop and manage a portfolio of clients in various industries.
- Mentor and develop Managers, Seniors, and Staff Accountants.
- Drive process improvements, technology adoption, and efficiency initiatives.
- Participate in strategic growth initiatives and business development efforts.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and financial reporting requirements.
- Support the firm's peer review, quality control, and compliance programs.
Audit Partner Job Requirements
- Active CPA license and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive public accounting experience with significant audit responsibilities.
- Minimum 5 years of engagement management and leadership experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience in Construction, Real Estate, and Professional Services industries preferred.
- Proven success in business development and client relationship management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
