Accounts Receivable Specialist Overview
- The Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage resident accounts and lease administration, ensuring accurate records and excellent customer service throughout the resident lifecycle.
- Provide support for resident inquiries and resolve issues via email and phone promptly and professionally.
- Perform lease administration tasks, including move-ins, move-outs, renewals, and security deposit processing with accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including processing vacates within the specified timeframe.
- Assist in accounts receivable activities such as billing, payment discrepancies, and returned check processing.
- Reconcile banking information and manage security deposit funds during tenant transitions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance operational efficiency and resident satisfaction.

Accounts Receivable Specialist Job Requirements
- Associate of Science (AS) degree or equivalent education required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in tenant accounts receivable; 5 years preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and real estate operating systems, particularly MRI.
- Strong analytical skills for resolving complex issues and reconciling tenant ledgers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Superior organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime as required.
- Experience in a multi-family environment is a plus.
