  • The Strategic Advisor, Extended Stay role offers a senior advisory position supporting the Extended Stay segment leader during a critical transition period.
  • Focus on strategic initiatives, commercial operating model design, and long-range planning to ensure seamless leadership transition and operational continuity.

Strategic Advisor, Extended Stay Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Partner with the segment leader to shape and pressure-test the Extended Stay long-range plan and commercial capabilities.
  • Provide advisory support to decentralize revenue management into a dedicated Extended Stay team, ensuring effective service model design.
  • Align sales and revenue management functions into a coordinated commercial capability for seamless operations and improved outcomes.
  • Develop strategies for advanced demand intelligence, including market opportunity scoring and local prospecting capabilities.
  • Shape franchisee product roadmaps to evolve RESIN into a differentiated tool serving diverse operator needs.
  • Provide strategic counsel and executable recommendations to the segment leader during the leadership transition period.
  • Collaborate on sourcing strategies and sales coverage models to optimize Extended Stay operations and market presence.
  • Ensure the preservation of best practices and standardization post-decentralization of revenue management functions.

Strategic Advisor, Extended Stay Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with senior-level strategy leadership experience in the Extended Stay segment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience, with 6 years preferred, in extended stay operations and commercial strategy.
  • Strong command of commercial operations, B2B sales, and revenue management, including negotiated account rates and pricing strategies.
  • Fluency in data analytics and the ability to translate data into actionable commercial insights.
