- The Licensing & Regulatory Specialist will oversee compliance and licensing processes within the insurance industry, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external regulators to maintain licensing and compliance for business entities.
- Prepare and submit applications and renewals for various insurance licenses, including surplus lines and reinsurance intermediary licenses.
- Manage officer and director records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Research and implement processes prescribed by insurance regulators to support business initiatives.
- Handle inquiries related to licensing and compliance, providing timely and accurate solutions.
- Coordinate payments to vendors and regulators, reconciling transactions with the accounting department.
- Contribute to special projects and assignments, ensuring high-quality execution and results.
- Work in a collaborative team environment, building strong relationships across departments.
Licensing & Regulatory Specialist Key Responsibilities & Duties

Licensing & Regulatory Specialist Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related law firm or in-house role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
- Strong organizational and writing skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines effectively.
- Preferred qualifications include paralegal certification and insurance industry experience.
- Experience with property and casualty insurance licensing across multiple jurisdictions is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills to navigate complex regulatory requirements.
