Senior Corporate Accountant Overview
- The Senior Corporate Accountant will play a pivotal role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.
- Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and Finance team to execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
- Contribute to financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives.
- Engage in accounting-related technology projects, including system upgrades and implementations.

- Provide detailed analysis and documentation to support financial transactions and reporting.

Senior Corporate Accountant Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare and post journal entries across general ledger accounts with accuracy and completeness.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Execute components of financial close processes, including financial statement preparation.
- Collaborate on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning and analysis activities.
- Maintain accounting records and resolve system-related issues within ERP platforms.
- Identify opportunities to automate and enhance accounting processes and controls.
- Conduct research on financial inquiries and provide supporting analysis.
- Support internal and external audit requests with detailed documentation.
Senior Corporate Accountant Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
- 4-7 years of experience in general ledger or corporate accounting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, and advanced Excel skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and proactive problem-solving skills.
