Employee Relations Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide administrative support to the Employee & Labor Relations department, ensuring smooth program operations.
- Coordinate meetings between stakeholders to facilitate dispute resolution and labor relations processes.
- Prepare and review written materials, including employee statements, memos, and reports.
- Assist in disciplinary and separation processes, ensuring compliance and managing equipment retrieval.
- Attend labor relations meetings, capturing minutes and summarizing discussions.
- Manage probationary evaluations and track annual performance reviews for organizational compliance.
- Support documentation gathering for grievance proceedings, arbitration, and hearings.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management.
Employee Relations Job Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum two years of human resources administrative experience; union setting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of ADP systems required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced, confidential environment.
- Customer service experience and advanced administrative skills required.
- Organizational skills to manage documentation and ensure compliance with labor relations standards.
