RFP Specialist Overview

• The RFP Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting client acquisition and retention efforts through effective proposal management and client communication.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and compelling responses to RFPs and DDQs.
• Develop and maintain best-in-class communication materials that articulate the firm’s investment philosophy and strategies.

RFP Specialist Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Manage and complete RFPs, DDQs, and recurring client reporting requests with accuracy and efficiency.
• Draft responses to unique client and prospect inquiries, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary data and insights for proposal development.
• Maintain and enhance the RFP library and consultant databases to streamline processes.
• Analyze performance attribution data and assist in creating detailed reporting and commentary.
• Support the sales and management teams with ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies in all client communications.
• Contribute to the development of innovative tools and processes to enhance proposal management.

RFP Specialist Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, preferably in finance or business.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the financial services industry; 6 years preferred.
• Proven expertise in asset management marketing and RFP processes.
• Exceptional writing skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of investments and financial products, with strong analytical capabilities.
• Experience with proposal management software such as Responsive is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
