• The Vice President of Finance will oversee strategic financial planning and analysis, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and enhancing decision-making processes.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling efforts to evaluate key performance indicators and support business growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine financial reporting structures and improve operational efficiency.
• Provide detailed analytics and insights for management and board reporting, including variance analysis and performance metrics.
• Support the financial close process and ensure compliance with GAAP and Non-GAAP standards.
• Identify opportunities to enhance reporting structures and implement effective internal controls.
• Assist in the implementation of new software and automation tools to streamline financial processes.
• Partner with business leads to develop actionable insights and drive strategic initiatives.

Vice President of Finance Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and manage the company’s annual budget process, focusing on revenue, expenses, and sales-based metrics.
• Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly management reporting packages, including financial statements and KPI reports.
• Collaborate with FP&A team members to refine forecasting models and evaluate business performance.
• Perform sales analytics to support business development and growth strategies.
• Identify and implement process improvements and internal controls to enhance financial operations.
• Support ad hoc projects, including software implementation and reporting automation initiatives.
• Provide detailed variance analysis and real-time forecasting to inform strategic decisions.
• Develop and present detailed analytics for management and board-level discussions.

Vice President of Finance Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance, with 10 years preferred.
• Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and Non-GAAP financial standards.
• Experience with financial modeling and performance metric development.
• Proficiency in implementing financial software and automation tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
