Junior Hedge Fund Operations Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Manage daily trade booking and instrument setup, resolving trade breaks across multiple accounts.
• Support lifecycle event processing for various financial instruments, including equities and derivatives.
• Process wire requests and document signature requests accurately under tight deadlines.
• Reconcile daily cash and positions with fund administrators and service providers.
• Manage account openings, system setups, and connectivity with administrators and third parties.
• Handle KYC requests and audit inquiries, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
• Contribute to month-end close processes, reconciliations, and reporting activities.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and collaborate with Technology teams for implementation.

Junior Hedge Fund Operations Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a quantitative field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations, fund administration, or accounting.
• Proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of Bloomberg.
• Familiarity with equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternative investments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform under deadline pressure.
• Experience with hedge funds, asset management, or fund administration is preferred.
• Exposure to AI tools for analysis and reconciliation tasks is advantageous.
• Ownership mindset with problem-solving skills and minimal supervision required.
