Senior Business Analyst Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead requirements gathering, business analysis, and functional solution design for post-trade applications.
• Manage project planning, execution, and documentation for market initiatives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on system changes.
• Act as a liaison between stakeholders and IT teams to address technical issues.
• Mentor junior team members and foster professional growth within the team.

Senior Business Analyst Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of IT experience, including 5+ years in investment banking.
• Proven expertise in business analysis for post-trade and equity applications.
• Strong knowledge of 15a6 compliance, FINRA rules, and DTCC workflows.
• Experience with project management practices and end-to-end ownership of projects.
• Proficiency in FIX protocols, SWIFT messaging, and reconciliation systems preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for translating technical issues to stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented with multitasking abilities under tight deadlines.
