Summary:
Prestigious law firm based in New York City, known for providing top-notch legal services to a diverse clientele. Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting within the legal industry and proficiency in using 3E accounting software.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- 3E Accounting Software: Manage and maintain the 3E accounting system, ensuring accurate and timely data entry, processing, and reporting.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Supervise the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- General Ledger: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and provide insights to senior management.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Audit Preparation: Coordinate and prepare for internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in 3E accounting software is required.
- Skills: Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Leadership: Proven leadership and team management skills.
