We are currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee our diverse range of construction projects.

Position Overview: The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves leading project teams, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are delivered successfully, adhering to quality standards, timelines, and budget constraints. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in general contracting, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, including project managers, supervisors, and subcontractors. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and addressing any issues or changes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, manage costs, and ensure financial controls are in place. Prepare and review cost estimates, change orders, and financial reports.
  • Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and addressing any delays or risks proactively.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work meets or exceeds company quality standards and complies with industry regulations and safety requirements.
  • Contract Administration: Oversee the preparation and management of contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address issues before they impact project outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management within the general contracting industry, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
    • Prior experience working in the light industrial or commercial construction industries a plus
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
    • Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
