    Become a vital part of our team as a Sonographer, working 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We’re looking for dual credentialed techs in echo and vascular ultrasound.

Description:

1. Perform vascular ultrasound studies, change linen, keep area clean. If dual credentialed would also perform adult echo

2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)

Philips US equipment, Epic, PAC Scan, Pyxis, Vocera

3. Required skills and minimum years of experience.

prefer dual credentialed in echo and vascular, IP experience required; minimum of 2 years experience

4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)

BLS, RVT and/or adult echo by CCI or ARDMS

5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?) 

4/10 hour shifts, will work alone on Sat and Sun, no call – 7a-5:30p

6. Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?)

would work outpatient in Heart and vascular office attached to the hospital

7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.

8 rooms in the professional building for ultrasound

8. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)

9. Dress Code:

Scrubs – Caribbean blue, close toed shoes

general orientation, Epic training, dept specific training

Additional Comments:

Sat an Sun shift required as well as 2 shifts during the week. Flexible for week days.
